Nitrox Diver Classes

What Nitrox means for you:

The Nitrox course offered by Dudas' Diving Duds is a hands-on, comprehensive program that will train you to safely dive with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. You will also begin building a strong foundation towards the Technical Nitrox Diver class and other technical diving techniques. Each class consists of a 4-hour sessions with 2 optional openwater dives. You will need to obtain and read your textbook prior to the first session. 

If you decide to do the openwater dives, you will need to complete 2 repetitive Nitrox Scuba dives in an open water environment. We have three different options for you to choose from. You can complete the dives with us at Dutch Springs, travel with us and do your dives in a warmer environment, or you can do your dives during one of our many New Jersey wreck dives during the summer. The Nitrox dives can also be combined with dives for your Advanced certification or specialties such as Wreck Diver or Dry suit Diver.

Class tuition: $200

Class includes:

• 1 classroom session

• 2 guided dives on 1 day (must be repetitive dives)

• Registration with NAUI or PADI as a Nitrox Diver

• 2 rental tanks with Nitrox fills

Not included:

• Equipment rental for the openwater dives:Wet or Dry suit, Regulator, BC, and Dive Computer

• Entrance fees to dive facility

• NAUI Nitrox  Book or PADI Nitrox Book & Tables
