These workshops focus on the mechanics
involved in creating a fine print using the tools that are part of
Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or Photoshop Elements. Sessions are made up of
lectures and demonstrations of each topic with lots of time for hands on
practice and individual instruction.
The first three sessions are dedicated
to using Adobe products to implement a RAW workflow for import, sorting,
cataloging, and global tone and color enhancements. (Since Photoshop,
Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Lightroom all use the same core Adobe
Camera RAW this session is applicable to users of any of the Adobe image
editing products.)
The next four sessions are devoted to
using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to implement the balance of the
image enhancement workflow. These sessions are targeted at providing
students with skills necessary to create master image files. And to then
re-purpose those master files to export for monitor based display (web
sites, email, digital projection) and/or creating prints; all in a color
managed workflow.
The final session is dedicated to lab
time to permit students time to put what they have learnt in use creating
a few master image files of their own images where the instructors can
answers questions quickly. |
