Ocean Encounters’ “One Stop Dive Shop” philosophy allows divers the opportunity to dive the entire island. Experiences like Mushroom Forest, Klein Curacao, Superior Producer and Tugboat are available right outside your hotel door. Just off the Lions Dive beach is the famous Stella Maris reef.
Accommodations
Lions Dive & Beach Resort has been built in a typical Dutch Caribbean style, with 2 and 3 floors surrounded by a tropical garden. You can reach our private beach from any spacious room, apartment or luxury suite in a matter of moments.
All rooms have 1 kingsize bed or 2 beds of 1.40 mtr. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower or bath, balcony or terrace, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-fridge, safety deposit box (charge US$ 1,50 per night), cable color television, direct dial telephone and internet possibilities. All electrical outlets are 220 Volt / 50 cycles.
Private Beach
Lions Dive & Beach Resort sits on an idyllic, palm studded private beach with plenty of lounge beach chairs and beds, beach huts and sunshades. For hotel guests there is a beach towel service. Since breakwaters are in place, our beach is also very friendly for children; they can play at the beach and in the sea in shallow water. Lions Dive’s private beach connects to Curacao’s largest white sand beach named ‘Sea Aquarium Beach’ (popular Mambo Beach), with several beach shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Bars & Restaurants
Culinary lovers have different choices at Lions Dive & Beach Resort, since we have 3 different bars & restaurants on property. Most famous is Beach Bar & Restaurant Hemingway, located right on the beach. Hemingway will start at 7 AM with our breakfast buffet. For lunch you can choose between Hemingway, but also our nice lunchroom Piazza at the 50-meter pool. Dinner is served at Hemingway or you can book your table at our fine dining restaurant Nemo (Seafood Grill). Happy hours and live music will be at scheduled hours at Hemingway. Besides our bar-restaurants there are several other bars and restaurants in walking distance of the resort!
