DUDAS DIVING DUDS
Happy New Year! Now let's go
somewhere warm!
|
January 2008
|
Dear Diver,
Happy new year! The winter months always lead to a time of
planning here at the shop. We have put up our new specialty class
schedule for the year, along with planning for trips, near and
far. We are rounding out our summer diving schedule, so stay tuned
for our annual North Carolina trip, a Blackbeards dive and sailing
cruise, some diving on the famous USS San Diego and Oregon out of
New York. Our Canada trip this year will be extended for more fun
on some new wrecksl. There is all kinds of diving being planned,
for all budgets.
If there is some place you would like to go, let us know. Most of
our trips are built around where our divers want to go. If we get
enough people interested, we can put a trip together. If you see
anything you like give us a call or better yet stop in the store
and see what's new. Cheers!

Come
Dive the President Coolidge in Vanuatu April 6-20, 2008
Well, I have been talking about doing this trip for some
time. Now the stars have aligned and we're going. This trip is a
wreck divers special. Vanuatu has one of the largest diveable
shipwrecks in the world in a beautiful location to boot. The USS
President Coolidge was an ocean liner that was converted to troop
service during WWII. On her way into Espiritu Santo harbor she
struck a "friendly" mine. The captain grounded the ship on the
reef, allowing his cargo of soldiers to jump overboard and
prevented a disaster from becoming a tragic loss of life. Once the
Coolidge was abandoned , she slid down the reef to where she rests
today with her stern in 200 ft and her bow in 60ft.
If you are interested in this trip, I need to now right away since
airplane tickets are precious and not a bad price for a Pacific
trip.
Drop me an e-mail if you are interested-

Turks
& Caicos Agressor! May 17-24.
Join Jim and Evelyn on a 7 day
tour
only 1 cabin left!
The Turks & Caicos are a great place to get your feet wet, in a
variety of ways. Liveaboard travel is something that has to be
experienced to realize the full potential that scuba diving has to
offer. This is quite literally; eat, sleep, and dive! The Turks &
Caicos Islands are a fantastic location if you have never done a
liveabaord trip before. Most of the islands are sparsely inhabited
and being aboard a boat is the best way to explore some of the
pristine and out of the way dive spots. Call Jim at the shop to
sign up!

Hess who has has something interesting and entertaining to say.
We meet for dinner at 7PM and the presentation starts at 8PM.
